University of Vermont’s EMS Portal
Reserving a space on campus is easy using EMS, our
virtual event reservation system.
Within EMS, you can search for available rooms, browse
room diagrams, request an indoor, or outdoor space, submit your catering
request, request parking permits, and more.
Important Note: This system is for REQUESTING space, and is not a guarantee
of availability nor approved use of requested space. You
will receive a confirmation email after a staff member has had an opportunity
to review your request.
UVM Faculty/Staff/Students: If you have not used the EMS
Portal before please complete the training at the link
below. Your EMS account will be activated upon successfully
completing the training and quiz:

2021 Event Information
Gathering sizes:There are no limits or restrictions on
the number of individuals being present at events, providing the event has been
confirmed by University Event Services.
University Dining Services:Dining services, including catering, will
return to normal operations with the start of the fall semester.
Face Coverings and Masks: Indoors, all individuals are required to wear
masks, this includes students, staff, visitors, and guests. Masks are not required outdoors.
Physical Distancing: 6-foot distancing is no longer required.
Spaces have returned to their normal capacities.
Visitors: Visitors no longer need prior approval to
come to campus. All visitors are strongly urged to be fully vaccinated.
Building hours: Have return to normal as of Monday, August
